Most of us see the new year as a time to refresh, reflect, and recommit to what matters most. As part of my own ongoing journey of growth, I’ll heading to India next week for 10 days to further my knowledge and deepen my practice. This trip will also allow me to offer more advanced techniques and training to my students, and I can’t wait to share that with you. Despite having gone through a rigorous training to become a Vedic instructor, I’m still a student, too.
Looking out toward 2018 got me thinking about how our future gets created by what we do today. Think about it: What are the choices you’re making today and are they aligned with what you say your want for your future?
Starting off the new year with daily meditation not only sets the tone for building healthy habits, but it actually helps retrain your brain. Neuroplasticity is the brain’s ability to form new connections and essentially rewire itself, which means that it’s possible over time to establish new thought patterns and behaviors that better serve us. Vedic meditation is known to be an access to that.
